Our Founder

Kathleen graduated from the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London, and freelanced as a cellist for around ten years, before founding Music In Vision. She has a wide-ranging musical life, and is fortunate to have performed in a wide range of genres. She is an experienced orchestral and chamber musician, and over the years has worked on projects as varied as a Bollywood film soundtrack, to an on-screen musician in Britannia, a TV series set during the Roman conquest of Britain.

She still occasionally finds time to perform as a core member of the no.1 selling classical crossover group, The Mediaeval Baebes, who recently featured on the soundtrack to the TV series, ‘Victoria’ and in 2018, live on Iggy Pop’s BBC 6 Music Christmas Day programme. This diverse range of work means that she is just as comfortable contributing to projects from rapper Plan B, to opera star Bryn Terfel.

Bridging the gap between production companies and musicians is why Kathleen Wallfisch started the company in 2017.

As a classically-trained freelance cellist, she recognised first-hand the clunky process of booking musicians could be simpler, smoother and faster.

Kathleen is still at the helm, but now employs talented staff, a greater range of services, and an ever-expanding pool of talent to draw upon. As client needs have grown, so have the company’s specialisms; covering individual music production elements or the complete suite of services.
