Bridging the gap between production companies and musicians is why Kathleen Wallfisch started the company in 2017.

As a classically-trained freelance cellist, she recognised first-hand the clunky process of booking musicians could be simpler, smoother and faster.

Kathleen is still at the helm, but now employs talented staff, a greater range of services, and an ever-expanding pool of talent to draw upon. As client needs have grown, so have the company’s specialisms; covering individual music production elements or the complete suite of services.

Music in Vision is devoted to adding value, expertise and peace of mind to every project we’re involved with - passion for production borne from the love of music.

Kathleen Wallfisch

Managing Director and Music Supervisor

Kathleen is represented by Rochelle Sharpe at Incite Mgmt, L.A. She was most recently Music Supervisor for the forthcoming Apple TV+ feature, Napoleon, dir. Sir Ridley Scott. She is currently working on a feature for Paramount.

Kathleen graduated from the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London with an MA in Historical Performance, specialising in baroque cello. She freelanced as a cellist for around ten years, before founding Music In Vision.

Kathleen founded Music In Vision in 2017, after playing as an on-camera cellist. She has cast musicians for a huge range of films TV programmes, and commercials. Kathleen moved into Music Supervision through the course of her consulting work on these projects. Some of Kathleen’s previous work includes coaching extras in historical instruments for Maleficent II (Disney), actor coaching for The Nevers (HBO Max), and on-camera supervision for The Great (Hulu). She is often asked to provide score arrangements for on-camera music, and also advises on period-appropriate musical choices from all genres and eras.

Kathleen is an Assosciate Supervisor of The UK and European Guild of Music Supervisors, and The Production Guild UK.

Benjamin Leuenberger

Assistant Music Supervisor

Benjamin was born and raised in Basel, Switzerland and graduated from Lucerne University Of Arts and Musicians Institute in Hollywood, studying Music Performance and Management. He moved to Los Angeles in 2016 and has been living in London since 2019.

Benjamin has a deep interest and passion for Film, its history and especially the relationship with Music. Through his work with Music In Vision, he gained significant experience on different Film sets and can consult on various Music related issues that may arise during a production of any scale.

Besides his work in the Film & TV industry, he is also active as a musician and music director for an array of outstanding Pop artists, having already toured in over 30 countries to date.
